The Year of the Fire Horse

Let me provide a little context first. In the lunar calendar, last year was the Year of the Snake. It was a time for shedding old stories, habits and ways of being that were not working.

For me, this theme hit home in a big way. After losing both of my parents just five months apart in late 2023, I went through a lot of shedding. I had to let go of my identity as a child, face immense grief and really sit with the loss. Grief is a beast. While it still hits me hard some days, the jagged pain has subsided.

Embracing Change and New Energy

The last couple of years have left me quiet, introspective and navigating both personal challenges and the noise on the world stage.

But now, things are shifting.

This month, the Year of the Fire Horse begins and with it comes a whole lot of new energy. Can you feel it?

The Fire Horse is all about change, fresh opportunities, mental clarity and personal growth. It’s a year to take action, to move your goals forward and to step boldly into the life that you want to create.
