Is this a dirty word?

Welcome to the Mosaic Minute.
In each video, I’ll answer one leadership question in about one minute.

Today’s question: I have always thought being ambitious was a good leadership trait? Am I right or is it just a dirty word and something to avoid?

Being ambitious is one of my favorite leadership traits. Yet, some people think ambition is a negative thing. They associate “ambition” with people who rise to the top by stepping on the people around them. I totally disagree.

Find out more in this video where I will define what being ambitious means to me.

Where can you be more ambitious at work? Is someone telling you that your great idea will not work? If so, be ambitious and prove them wrong!

Do you have a burning leadership question?

Email it to me  at vanessa@mosaicpd.com and I will confidentially address it in a future Mosaic Minute episode.
