The top reason leaders are not achieving results

Would you like to deliver better results at work?

I hear from a lot of leaders that they feel unsatisfied with the results that they are currently achieving.

They also tell me that they are struggling to inspire their team to deliver their goals and objectives sufficiently.

If you can relate to this issue, it is probably causing you a lot of stress because you want to increase your impact but just don’t know how to do so.

Well, after working with leaders for over 20 years, I see some trends and behavioural patterns that hold people back from reaching their potential.

To be honest, the number one thing that holds leaders back is that they are “winging it” too often.

Now, I realize that your schedule is packed each day.

I understand that you spend a lot of time putting out fires.

But let me be clear… “winging it” always decreases your output and results.

Here is a list of the top 3 ways that leaders decrease their results by “winging it”:

  1. They are not planning for meetings or setting meeting agendas.
  2. They are not preparing in advance when giving feedback (or are avoiding these crucial conversations altogether!)
  3. They are not taking the time to plan and prepare a to-do list every day.

These are just three small things that you can stop doing to achieve better results at work.

In essence, if you want better results, you need to be more strategic.

What can you do to plan and prepare a little more?
