Nobody Taught You How to Lead. Here’s What to Do About It.

Let me ask you something honestly.
When you got promoted into a leadership role, did anyone actually sit you down and teach you how to lead?
Did you learn how to delegate properly, how to give feedback or how to get results through people who don’t always work the way you do?
Or are you just figuring out how to lead on your own?
Most leaders do.
Have you ever Googled how to give feedback at 11 pm before a performance review?
Have you signed up for an online course that sounds good but is too theoretical?
Maybe you ask a peer for help, but it is likely that they never had formal leadership training either.
You Were Promoted. But Were You Trained?
Here’s what I know after over 20 years of coaching and developing leaders.
This isn’t a you problem.
It’s a systemic one.
Most organizations promote their best people and then leave them to figure out how to lead on their own.
But the skills that got you to this point in your career are not the same skills that you need to be a successful leader.
The good news is that leadership is something that you can learn.
Leadership Is Learnable
While leadership is complex and multifaceted, you can learn the core components that will help you feel more confident at work.
You can learn how to have those difficult conversations, how to delegate, and how to communicate across different work styles. You can learn how to build a team that actually performs without you holding everything together.
But you have to actually learn it.
You won’t learn these skills from a 20-minute video, a book or a podcast on your commute.
But I have great news for you.
I’m working on a program that I’ve been wanting to launch for a while now.
I want this year to be the year that you learn how to be a confident leader who has the skills to thrive and lead beyond the overwhelm.
I am working on something live, practical and fast because I know your time is already stretched thin.
This program won’t focus on fluff or theory.
Rather, you will learn the real tools that make the difference between a leader who’s constantly overwhelmed and one who genuinely knows what they’re doing.
I’ll be sharing all the details very soon.
If you want to be the first to hear about it, join my mailing list. I’ll send everything straight to your inbox.
